Making its Olympic debut in Paris, breaking has gained popoularity around the world thanks to its combination of athelticism, artistry and creativity. Up to two female and two male breakers can represent Team USA in Paris at the 2024 Olympic Games, with the first two of those quota spots earned by Grace Sunny Choi (B-girl Sunny) at the 2023 Pan American Games and Victor Montalvo (B-boy Victor) at 2023 World Championships. The remaining two spots were earned through the 2024 Olympic Qualifier Series for breaking, climbing, skateboarding and BMX that took place May 16-19 in Shanghai and culminated June 20-23 in Budapest. From this series, B-girl Logistx (Logan Edra) and B-boy Jeffro (Jeffrey Louis) earned their tickets to Paris by collecting points throughout the series and ending in fifth place of their respective b-girl and b-boy categories.

  • B-girl Sunny - First female breaker to qualify for an Olympic Games in United States history. Started breaking in college after a series of injuries forced her to walk away from her first love of gymnastics. Left her coporate job to pursue her dream of becoming an Olympian and focus on breaking.
  • B-boy Victor - Introduced to breaking by his father and uncle who are known as breaking pioneers. Has a history of success in the breaking competition circuit, winning almost every major title.
  • B-boy Jeffro - Houston-native who combined his love of fitness and breaking to open his own gym. Was introduced to breaking by his brother when he was young.
  • B-girl Logistx - Started breaking when she was seven years old and was given her B-girl name by her father. At 21, she's the youngest of the Team USA breakers heading to Paris this summer.
