Board members will be selected to serve on one or more standing committees, with such standing committees and the Board of Directors meeting at least four times per year. USOPC Board members must also be willing to undertake assessments of their personal contributions and performance of themselves, as well as participate in reviews of the effectiveness and performance of the Board as a whole.
Finally, Board members are expected to respect and observe the utmost confidentiality regarding sensitive and proprietary information. Only the Board Chair and other expressly authorized representatives of the USOPC are permitted to speak on behalf of the Board and USOPC.
