Empowering the competitive excellence and well-being of Team USA athletes is core to the USOPC’s mission. We want Team USA athletes to reach their full potential and aspirations in sport on and off the field of play. From physical and mental health to sport sciences, safety and empowerment, we continue to show up for Team USA in their training, competition and beyond.

Inspired by a commitment to innovate, elevate and advance sport, the USOPC continues to improve how we show up for athletes so they can represent Team USA and realize their Olympic and Paralympic dreams. Together we are cultivating an environment that promotes excellence in performance, safety, fairness, operational acumen and diversity, equity and inclusion.

With the support of our growing community of fans, donors and partners, the USOPC tapped into new ways to celebrate and share the stories behind athletes’ journeys to Team USA. The USOPC recognizes that sport is about so much more than the final medal count – it develops leaders, teaches perseverance, forges friendships and unites the world. 

The USOPC is committed to fiscal responsibility and financial transparency. Our primary purpose is supporting athletes through direct funds, programs and services. Through our financial disclosures, reports and ongoing communications, we work to ensure our stakeholders understand how the USOPC operates and invests our resources.
