Media accreditation process open for Junior Pan American Games Asunción 2025

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee has opened requests for media accreditation to the Junior Pan American Games Asunción 2025. The event, which will take place Aug. 9-23 in Paraguay, will bring together more than 4,000 athletes from 41 countries.

Media interested in applying for written and photo credentials, as well as non-media rights-holder (ENR) credentials, for the Junior Pan American Games Asunción 2025 are asked to email Accreditation@usopc.org to indicate the number of people they wish to accredit, specify their roles (E, EP, ENR), and provide their address, phone number and email. The deadline to submit your request is Friday, April 18. 
 
As a reminder, the accreditation types are outlined below:

Types of Press Accreditation

CATEGORY E – JOURNALIST

Roles: Journalist, editor, photo editor hired by a national or international news agency, a general daily newspaper, a sports newspaper, a magazine, a digital media outlet, or an independent journalist/freelancer under contract.

CATEGORY EP – PHOTOGRAPHER

Roles: Photographer, photography technician. Must meet the same criteria as Category E.

CATEGORY ENR – NON-RIGHTS HOLDER MEDIA

Member of a radio or television organization without broadcasting or retransmission rights.
