Join us for the fifth annual USOPC-NGB Medical Conference! This annual multidisciplinary event that introduces healthcare providers to the Olympic and Paralympic movements and prepares them to work with Team USA athletes. It offers insights into best practices from top Team USA medical professionals, emphasizes emergency preparedness and teamwork, showcases U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) sports medicine resources, and provides pathways for collaboration with Team USA, along with numerous other educational opportunities.
Designed for newcomers and seasoned practitioners seeking to enhance their sports medicine knowledge, this program offers an exclusive view of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic medical ecosystem. Participants will learn from esteemed sports medicine experts, engage in valuable networking opportunities, and apply their knowledge through hands-on medical emergency simulations at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center.

Team USA Athlete (active/currently competing):
*This category is reserved for athletes actively competing for Team USA. Retired athletes must register using the appropriate professional category: physician or non-physician/physician in training. Registration will be reviewed and participants in the incorrect category will be asked to re-register and pay required fees, as necessary.

The pricing includes both the event fee, as well as the cost of the receptions. If you are traveling with a guest and wish for them to attend an evening reception, there will be an additional cost of $55/person/reception.

Accomodations
Book, opens in a new tabThe host hotel for the event is the Mining Exchange Hotel for a group room rate of $199++/night for a king bed or two queen beds. Located in downtown Colorado Springs, the Mining Exchange is two miles west of the OPTC and less than a mile to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum where the evening reception will be held.
If any part of your stay needs to be booked outside the nights of April 9, 10, or 11, please call the hotel directly at 719-323-2011 and reference the USOPC Medical Conference to make your reservations. Our discounted rate at the hotel will only apply between the nights of April 7-13.
The USOPC will provide a shuttle to and from the Mining Exchange to the OPTC each day of the event prior to the meeting and at the conclusion of the day. A shuttle will also be available from the OPTC to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum for the evening reception on Friday, April 11th, 2025
Transportation
All airport arrivals and departures will be the responsibility of the attendee to secure. We suggest either utilizing Uber/Lyft or Groome Transportation for your transportation needs. Groome's shuttle has a multiple daily shuttles from Denver International Airport to the Antlers Hotel, which is a 5-minute walk or short Uber/Lyft to the Mining Exchange.
The USOPC will provide a shuttle between the Mining Exchange and the OPTC at the start and end of the meeting each day. A shuttle will also be available from the OPTC to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum for the evening reception on April 11th.
Continuing Education#
The USOPC will provide continuing education credits to athletic trainers, chiropractors (California), physical therapists (California and Colorado), physicians and physician assistants.

This conference is designed for first-time attendees interested in getting involved in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic movements and practitioners seeking to update their knowledge. With content spanning a range of sports medicine topics, the event is ideal for athletic trainers, chiropractors, physical therapists, physicians, physician assistants and sport medicine administrators.
This conference is a great opportunity to learn about pathways to the Olympic and Paralympic movements, network in person with healthcare professionals at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee and national governing bodies (NGBs) and immerse yourself with additional content and experiences specific to Team USA.
The conference is limited to 120 for the in-person event so registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If capacity is not met, the deadline to register to attend in person is Friday, March 14. There is no limit for virtual attendance with registration closing on Friday, April 4.
You will be prompted to create an account upon registering for the USOPC-NGB Medical Conference. If you register for multiple events (i.e. NGB Medical Lead Meeting, USOPC-NGB Medical Conference, other Team USA conferences), you will need to create a new account for each event. You will be able to use the same email address but will need to use a different password. Also, if you don’t complete registration, exit and revisit the page, it will ask you to create a new account again so you will have to use a new password each time.

Learning objectives:

Schedule and Format: Two and a half day conference offered both in-person and virtually with lectures and hands-on trainings from distinguished medical professionals and panelists.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: To request a refund, please contact USOPC Sports Medicine on or before March 16, 2025. No refund requests will be accepted after this date. The USOPC will process the refund within 10-14 business days from the day the request is received.
Required materials and equipment: Virtual participants are required to be able to log in and view the streaming presentation on the device of their choice. This device may be a computer, tablet, or smartphone. All materials will be provided for in-person attendees.
Yes, all registrants will receive a link to access the recordings and presentation handouts for approximately 30 days following the event.

Team USA athletes interested in a career in healthcare are encouraged to attend the USOPC-NGB Medical Conference! Active athletes who are currently competing can register to attend virtually for free, or pay a fee to attend in person. Retired athletes who are currently working or pursuing a career in the medical field must register using the appropriate professional category (physician or non-physician/physician in training).
