Global Travel Insurance

The USOPC provides global travel insurance to athletes which includes medical coverage while traveling abroad. Coverage includes assistance with travel-rlated inquiries, prescription medications lost during travel and medical evacuation for USOPC staff, athletes enrolled in Elite Athlete Health Insurance (EAHI), and Team USA delegation members are enrolled in this coverage automatically while traveling internationally. Coverage begins when the traveler leaves the place where they normally work or live and ends when they return to that location.

Non-EAHI athletes and their dependents may consult their respective National Governing Body (NGB) for additional travel programs and health insurance coverage.
