U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee announces dates for Team USA Media Summit ahead of Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee today announced initial details for its Team USA Media Summit ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024. Returning to an in-person event for the first time since 2017, the three-day event is slated for April 15-17, 2024, at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square.

The event will kick off with a media welcome reception on Sunday, April 14 at Central Park Boathouse and will feature USOPC leadership, several athletes and sport demonstrations. The event will conclude on April 17 and will feature iconic New York media programming elements, helping to celebrate the 100-day-out milestone to the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

The summit will feature approximately 100 athletes and will include at least one athlete from each summer National Governing Body. USOPC leadership and service providers will also be available to media during the event.

Media registration for the event will open in early 2024. Media are invited to book hotel rooms at a discounted rate at the Marriott Marquis. The limited room block, which begins April 13, can be found HERE. 

Programming details will be outlined in registration, but media can expect press conferences, round tables, panels, photo shoots, video shoots and more.
