Team USA Athletes' Commission Strategic Plan Announcement
by Team USA Athletes' Commission
Dear Team USA Community,
We are excited to share with you the Team USA Athletes' Commission (Team USA AC) Strategic Plan for the 2025-2028 Quad. This plan represents an inclusive and forward-thinking vision to strengthen athlete advocacy, enhance communication, and continue to foster an athlete-driven culture across Team USA.
The Strategic Plan is the culmination of a thorough, collaborative process. Insights were gathered through surveys from members of the Internal Athlete Advisory Councils as well as through in-depth interviews with athletes and key stakeholders within the USOPC. These efforts ensured that athletes' voices remained central throughout the development process, which was supported by experienced strategic consultants. Their expertise helped us create a clear, actionable framework that aligns with our vision, values and strategic priorities for athlete advocacy.
The final draft of the plan was reviewed and adopted by the Team USA AC body. It outlines key goals, including strengthening athlete representation, improving communication, and transforming into an independent organization. These priorities will guide our decision-making as we continue to empower athletes and drive the future of Team USA.
Although the planning process has concluded, our work has just begun. We are dedicated to maintaining accountability and upholding our core values and mission throughout the upcoming Quad and beyond. We invite all athletes and stakeholders to support our efforts as we work to build a stronger future that is in the best interests of Team USA athletes
We sincerely thank everyone who played a role in shaping this plan, particularly the athletes who generously shared their time and perspectives. We hope it resonates with you as much as it does with us, and we’re excited to continue working together to shape the future of Team USA.
