Statement From Team USA AC Leadership on American Airlines Flight 5342

There simply are no words that can accurately convey our profound sense of heartbreak over the loss of 67 souls last night in Washington, D.C. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of all who lost their lives. Among those lost, were several members of the U.S. Figure Skating family as well as international skating competitors and on behalf of Team USA athletes everywhere, we are devastated and mourn their passing. We will be there for their families in the difficult days and months to come and we will honor their memory in the years ahead.
